The life of a model is a bit chaotic, not always knowing when, or even where, you‘ll have your next booking. How has that impacted your daily life?
For one, it’s made for a lot more fun. The uncertainty can be stressful, but its also helped make me more easy going and that this world isn’t an exact science. Life isn’t predictable and it’s not reliable to plan too far in the future, you’ve got to learn to roll with the punches.
What do you do to manage stress? Do you practice yoga, blast music or take a walk?
Blast music, dance like a mad man, and breathe deeply.
Small rural town or big city?
Big city, every time.
Are you a big food enthusiast? What would your ‘last meal’ be?
I love trying new dishes and cuisines, but my last meal would be the bagel I’ve eaten nearly every day of my life. A cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese.
What’s your biggest fear in the world?
Wasting the opportunities and privileges afforded to me.
What was the very first modeling gig you had? Were you scared and uncomfortable?
It was an editorial shoot in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I hadn’t moved to New York City yet and I was completely unfamiliar with posing and modeling, but I felt so beautiful and cool wearing Comme des Garçons. The photos turned out truly amasing and it’s still one of my favourites.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever been asked to do while modeling?
Cut my hair. Are you kidding me! This is the money maker (Laughs, E.D.)

If you opened your phone to show me, what app’s would I find? What application do you use the most?
You’d find Apple Music, Instagram, Vogue Runway, Vestiaire Collective, Fender Tuner and Tinder. More than anything I use the messenger app.

Calling.
What’s your favourite book?
‘Fear and loathing in Las Vegas’ by Hunter S. Thompson.
What’s the last thing you do at night before going to sleep?
Brush my teeth.
If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life, where’d it be and why?
New York City, hands down! As I don’t love the rent but I love the food, the fast pace, the culture, and proximity to my family.
Favourite guilty pleasure?
Listening to Ke$ha.
What items are on your fashion wish list?
Big Issey Miyake pleats, Tabi boots (the punk ones with the saddles and studs), and a green Gucci suit. Alternatively, I wouldn’t mind owning a 60’s Balenciaga couture dress. I’d make a shrine to it.

What three values would you say are engraved in you?
Being respectful, being polite, and being unbothered.
If you could jump back, or to the future, what era would you choose to live in?
I’d jump forward 100 years. I wouldn’t mind there being a universal basic income.
Do you have a ‘celebrity crush’? Who is it and why?
I absolutely adore Al Roker, I think he’s so lovable and goofy. Shoutout to meteorology.
What zodiac sign are you? Does it resonate with you at all?
I’m a cancer, which most people could guess without me even telling them. I’m sensitive and I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Do you see yourself in the future doing something besides modeling? Or would you like to continue with it for the rest of your life?
I have so much fun working as a model and it does fantastic things for my self-esteem and image. In five years time, I’d like to be styling editorials and campaigns whilst working as a model. Further down the line I want to be a creative director at a major fashion house, or create my own label.
