May I introduce you to ‘Monsieur Dior’?

For the 2023 edition of Salone del Mobile, Dior has collaborated with no less than Philippe Starck, bringing forward their successful partnership. In fact, the world-renowned architect reinterpreted the historic maison’s ‘Dior Medallion’ chair and turned it into an armchair paying homage to Monsieur Dior himself. More specifically Starck, who likes to be considered an ‘explorer of the minimum’, refined the structure of the iconic ‘Dior Medallion’ and put emphasis on the French brand’s visual identity, with elements such as the ‘Toile de Jouy’ fabric in pink and white or neon orange. That’s not all, for this special occasion the star architect has enriched the Dior furniture collection with new, timeless and ever-so elegant pieces, including tables and stools in different colours and materials. From April 18th to 23rd, Philippe Starck’s creations for the luxury brand will be on display at Palazzo Citterio in Milan (Via Brera 12), don’t miss your chance to be a part of this chapter in the maison’s history!
