Who was on the posters hanging on your bedroom walls growing up?
Kanye West and Cristiano Ronaldo. Music and soccer were largely influential for me growing up. I always respected their ability to have an influence and impact on such a large scale.

Did you always feel comfortable in your own skin?
For the most part, I did. As the child of immigrants, you’re always navigating the intersection of cultures and that can be challenging sometimes. But I love who I am and the mix of cultures I grew up in, which has shaped my taste.

What have you learnt about yourself through modelling?
It’s shown me the importance of seizing opportunities and constantly evolving to reach new heights. It’s also shown me the importance of presence and energy, the way you hold and present yourself has a lasting impact.
